Vietnam War; US Army UH-1 "Hueys" insert troops into their assigned Landing Zone (LZ). The GIs, standing on the helo's skids, are anxious to jump off the exposed "choppers" to find good fighting positions. Many times these LZs became "hot" as firefights erupted.
